HOW CAN I SEND IN MY OWN CASE?
Yes, this is an option under “1) SELECT A CASE.”
Please keep in mind that your case must be no larger than 600mm x 300mm x 630mm and no heavier than 24kg.
Please address the matter to us directly and include your order number in the first line of the address. It is your obligation to make sure your spec fits your case.
WHAT ARE YOUR GRAPHICS CARD BRANDS?
We usually carry NVIDIA graphics cards from Zotac or Palit, however, we do occasionally stock other brands. Although we do not sell founders edition cards, all of our cards have an NVIDIA chip; nonetheless, the size, look, fans, and warranty vary by brand. Please contact us if you’d like to know which brands we presently have in stock.
CAN I PURCHASE A SYSTEM WITHOUT E.G. RAM, A HARD DRIVE, ETC.?
No, we only offer fully equipped systems; all key components must be purchased since all systems must be completely operational before being dispatched. We do, however, provide an open case warranty, allowing you to install your own components. Please see the following terms and conditions for further information:
CAN I PURCHASE INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS?
No, we only sell completely assembled systems. We do, however, provide upgrades on most components if you have previously purchased your system from us.
AM I ABLE TO TRADE IN MY OLD SYSTEM?
Although we do not provide this service, if you do decide to sell your system, you can transfer the warranty by signing into your account and navigating to “Sold your PC?” “Have the warranty transferred?”
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY AND HOW IS THE COMPUTER PACKAGED?
Most UK postcodes are presently free of charge for delivery on a regular 24-hour Monday-Friday service. Additional costs apply to delivery to the Highlands and Islands, including Jersey and Guernsey, which may be specified when customizing your new system on our website.
Your PC will be delivered in a multi-adjustable system pack. A double wall carton with hand grips stress absorbing cushion foam end caps, and a top fitting box with lifting handles make up this set. For transporting PCs and laptops, we have specially manufactured packaging to our standards.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, WF4 4TD, near Huddersfield. You are allowed to pick up orders from our location, however, we do not promote customer visits because our location is not designed for this purpose.
HOW LONG DOES A BANK TRANSFER TAKE?
Bank transfers are usually received within 1-2 business days. Your purchase will be completed after we have received payment. Please keep in mind that if you choose a fast-track service, it will not commence until we receive payment.
WHY HAS THE PAYMENT FAILED?
Payments usually fail to owe to an inaccurate invoice address, insufficient cash, or a bank rejection. Please contact your financial institution.
HOW LONG DO REFUNDS TAKE?
A refund should appear in your account within 3-5 business days once it has been processed.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
If your purchase has not yet been shipped, you may track its progress by signing into your PCSpecialist account on our website.
If your order has already been shipped, DPD will provide you with a tracking number so you can keep track of it.
HOW LONG DOES EACH STAGE TAKE?
Pre-production takes the longest and is dependent on our current order volume and inventories. Please contact us so that we can confirm.
The construction process normally takes 1-2 days, while the testing phase might take up to 2 days (or 4 working days if you order a liquid system). When your order is manufactured, tested, and sent, we will give you an email update. Please keep in mind that weekends and holidays are not considered working days.
CAN I SPEED THE ORDER UP?
We have two production fast tracks available:

HOW CAN I RETURN MY COMPUTER FOR A REPAIR?
Log in to your account, navigate to “My Returns,” and then “Request an RMA.” Please be informed that if your order is no longer covered by warranty, there will be a labor charge as well as a collect and return cost (unless you drop the system off yourself, or use your own courier). Please contact us if you are unsure whether you require an RMA.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
RMAs might take up to two weeks to process, depending on the number of repairs, stock, and intricacy of the problem. The technician will email you updates on the status of your system.
MY TRACKING NUMBER SAYS “DELIVERED,” BUT MY RMA’S STATUS HAS NOT CHANGED.
This indicates that your system has arrived but has not yet been scanned. This is normally completed in less than 24 hours.
DO I RECEIVE UPDATES?
Yes, the technician will email you an update after the system has been diagnosed.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR PARTS?

WHAT COMPONENTS CAN I UPGRADE?
Desktop- We provide upgrades on all key components except the CPU, motherboard, and casing for desktop computers.
Laptop – With the exception of the CPU and graphics card, which are soldered to the chassis in most cases, the majority of our laptops may be updated.
WHERE CAN I UPGRADE?
Please go to “My Upgrades” after logging into your Computerspecialist account.
CAN I CARRY OUT THE UPGRADE MYSELF?
Yes, you may buy from us and install them yourself, but if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, you can send them to us.
WILL I VOID MY WARRANTY IF I OPEN THE CASE AND INSTALL MY OWN COMPONENTS?
Unlike other computer manufacturers, we let you open the casing and replace the components yourself. Your warranty will still be valid if you install these components appropriately and do not harm your computer while or as a result of doing so.
We offer no assistance for these components during installation or usage, and any warranty returns caused by your own components will be charged for both labor and return fees. If you must return your computer to us for whatever reason, we highly advise you to remove these components first, since we cannot be held liable.
